Live from Ocean Edge!

This bank holiday Friday local radio station Beyond Radio broadcast its drivetime program live from Ocean Edge Holiday Park.

The special 3 hour show was broadcast on Friday 24th May 2019 which saw Beyond Radio’s Commercial Director Nathan Hill interview staff and visitors from the famous Heysham holiday destination.

Ocean Edge Holiday Park is owned an operated by Park Dean resorts who own 67 similar holiday parks throughout the UK which makes it the largest holiday park operator in the UK. Park Dean also recently won Gold for the ‘Best Camping and Mobile Holiday Company’ at the British Travel Awards in 2018.

Speaking about his visit Nathan Hill from Beyond Radio: “It’s easy to see why the park is such a popular attraction in our area, the facilities are outstanding, there really is something for all the family. The staff we’re so accommodating too, nothing was too much trouble.”

“Establishments like these are important to our local economy, as seaside towns such as the beautiful Morecambe rely heavily on tourism and it was great to see behind the scenes of such a great tourist destination.”

“After speaking to lots of the visitors at the park, its clear that many are returning customers who love our area and indeed Ocean Edge Holiday Park.”

Dan Thornton is the Parks General Manager; “It was great to welcome Beyond Radio to the park and we’re thrilled to be working with such a great community organisation who really understand the local area. For us, working locally and supporting local organisations is key that’s why this year we’ve pledged our support for Beyond Radio, the Morecambe Music Festival and the Morecambe Carnival.
